The pinnacle of telecoms projects
Negotiation
Everything starts with a design
Obtaining permits
There are around 12,000 telecoms sites in Belgium. Changes to these often no longer require a permit. Approximately 150 new sites are built on an annual basis. Of course, you will need a permit for these. We make sure that all necessary permits are obtained quickly and efficiently.
Qualitative radiation analysis
Designing and constructing antennas is one thing; making them operational is something else. At QBIC, we check everything against regional, national, and European standards. We will only issue a certificate once everything is perfectly streamlined.
Such a certificate takes into account the standards that the client has in mind. At the same time, we focus on the environment. This includes matters such as houses and family living environments, schools and hospitals, and the ENTIRE public domain. We support our decisions through analysis and the interpretation of various data. We make adjustments where necessary and guarantee absolute accuracy in every case we handle.
Stability studies
because we care
A pylon, a roof structure… everything has to be perfectly anchored and demonstrate highly solid stability. If construction plans are available, we will start working on them. We sometimes break open a roof as an additional check. This way, we can ascertain for ourselves how thick a concrete slab is or see which retaining wall needs to be anchored.
We have built up a great deal of expertise after having constructed several thousand telecoms sites. We have collected compiled a catalogue with a good overview of the most important solutions. It can even be personalised to suit the client.
The infrastructure is evolving fast, antennas are larger, configurations are denser, and wind and load effects become more nuanced. When conventional calculations reach their practical limits, QBIC complements them with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), a detailed simulation approach that maps the real load path through pylon or roof structures. The result is maximum safe capacity, smarter reinforcement choices, and dependable long term stability.
At QBIC, we leave nothing to chance… because we care!
As built, for changes during projects
Small changes are often necessary during the execution of projects. That is why documentation of what is actually built is very important. It goes without saying that we carry out all the inspections ourselves.
We always start based on our own plans in order to make any changes. Of course, this is always done in consultation with the client. All changes are noted in a final schedule. This can be built upon later, literally and figuratively.
